Adventure of Kohsuke Kindaichi

One of many dope finds from my march trip to Shibuya Japan. I Picked this up from the guy at Face Records, i highly recommend that place as they have a huge selection and dude was really helpful. The Lp is the soundtrack to Kohsuke Kindaich tv series about a detective in japan , penned by the late great Seishi Yokomizo. The soundtrack features slick mixture of synths and strings with some sleazy funk guitar thrown in for good measure .dont sleep on this one...IT DOES NOT TURN UP!!

Big thanks to Dr Malta and to Mista Donut for translating.

Check the going rate here, read about The Adventure of Kohsuke Kindaichi here and play detective here.

Another fine post, i really applaud your generosity. While others would keep these great records on their wall to caress their egos. You allow the rest of us to hear what we would probably never have the chance to. A million thanks.

Pyrex - thanks for this amazing record. i really cant stop listening. i'm not into collecting things just because they are rare, but im very curious as to how such an outstanding piece of work can be so elusive and under-recognized by the "casual" listener. to me this is really on par or above the grammy winners we see. it's a shame not enough credit is given. im trying to dig up info on the band, but cant speak/read japanese. do you know if there are any other similar instrumental works by kindaichi (rare or not)?

thanks again.

WoW..............this changed my life :)

Im a complete noob to digging for vinyls (i buy alot of cdz tho....LOL) and i just love funk.......and japan..........so this album combination is orgazm. And it sounds SOOO GOOOD. As a B-Boy i love funk especially dancing to it (obviously) so this release is just so amazing!

Would it be a hassle to ask for 320 kbps rip? if not lossless???? ;)

thanks for sharing this

So thank you for keeping fUNk aLivE

They play jazz funk, funk and pure jazz depending on the venues and featuring
